Why I built it

This Shiny app demonstrates concepts from Essentials of Microeconomics by Andrew Wait and Bonnie Nguyen. My friends and I had trouble with some of the theories on the page, so I built an interactive version: change a parameter, watch the curves and the equilibrium move. Symbolic math under the hood means the equations stay readable, not just the plots.

Stack

Python with the shiny framework, SymPy for the symbolic algebra, and Matplotlib for the plots. Hosted on a Hugging Face Space so anyone can play with it in the browser.
