I collaborated in developing an AI-based text optimization interface for the Youdao dictionary app, which ranks as the third most downloaded reference app on the App Store in China, using Swift and SwiftUI. I also contributed to the development of Hi Echo, a virtual speaking coach application, by implementing the weekly learning report interface using UIKit.

During my stay at the company, I wrote and improved several automation scripts for updating housing information, generating marketing reports, and updating contacts. I wrote most of the automation scripts in Python and made use of a wide range of PyPI libraries. They also involve managing and querying Microsoft SQL databases.

I am studying Bachelor of Advanced Computer and Bachelor of Science, majoring in computer science and data science. I am also part of the Dalyell Scholars program.

In 24 hours, our team developed a team matching app called Matcha using Svelte. The backend makes use of a self-hosted API powered by pre-trained NLP models and a more traditional algorithm using Levenshtein distance.

I achieved an Annual Average Mark of 89.1 in 2021 while challenging myself as much as possible with the advanced units. This award was established in 2007 to recognize exemplary undergraduate students. There are approximately 600 prizes awarded annually.

I led a team of Bachelor students who completed and published a game on itch.io and my personal website - Crazy Spin.

Over three weeks, my teammates and I built an auction bot that could bid in simulated environments and classify participants based on their behavior. We applied our knowledge on communication protocols, hypothesis testing and algorithm design in general. Our work is open source on GitHub .
